What does Ed do?
- Copywriting (online and 'offline')
- Content Development (and management)
Ed's copywriting and content is developed with sound strategic planning in sync with clients' business goals and objectives. The content is then used to populate websites and other online channels such as email newsletters, blogs, and social media channels.
Once developed, Ed's content is closely monitored on a day-to-day basis. Then monthly performance reports are delivered, complete with recommendations for ongoing improvements to content and any other design or functionality features.
Ed's content is also used for 'offline' marketing such as printed collateral, newspapers and magazines, outdoor advertising, packaging, and anything else that knocks on Ed's door.
Ed works closely with Hawke's Bay-based web design and development company Flaxpod. And just recently Flaxpod launched their new site. Ed carried out a complete copywriting effort including interviewing key clients and writing up case studies.
The central tenet of the brief was to make the site an enjoyable read complete with Kiwi idioms and a fair bit of slapstick humour. Anyway, check it out and you be the judge by letting us know what you think.
