• To return to their own communities inspired to take positive action in and for their local environment.

• To be supported in making Environmental Education/Education for Sustainability/EOTC a vital part of school kaupapa; not as an “extra” subject but integrated into a balanced, curriculum based approach to education, in which all students are fully involved and learning objectives are met or exceeded.
• To be supported and resourced in planning and implementing high challenge, low risk outdoor education activities; relevantly incorporated within wider educational programmes, at levels appropriate for ongoing student development of action competence and the key competencies – capabilities for lifelong learning.
